Femmes Uniques: Michel Gonet’ champagne dinner

As part of Women’s Day and Francophonie Month, we are joined by Diane Gonet, the daughter of the Fotografiska champagne house in France, who represents one of the few remaining large family-owned champagne houses – the only one we know of still run by a woman. With Diane’s sparkling personality and already accumulated wealth of stories, there is no doubt that the Gonet house is firmly in female hands for the future.

The event will include a tour of French fashion icon Sarah Moon’s exhibition, a champagne tasting and a 4-course dinner with drinks suggestions from Gonet’s champagne house.

The 4-course menu at the Fotografiska restaurant will be enriched with surprises by our head baker Annika Puusalu-Roche. Annika studied and worked for 10 years in several Michelin-starred restaurants. She obtained her advanced pastry skills at the school founded by the legendary Alain Ducasse in France. The colourful insights of those involved in an industry historically led by men will also be heard during a tour-discussion at Sarah Moon’s exhibition before dinner.

Femmes Uniques is a series of Fotografiska events aimed at highlighting the brilliant women of the restaurant scene. The event is driven by women’s mindsets, experiences and emotions, expressed in a dinner menu, a great selection of beverages or pastries.
