Is it possible to experience dance as something to just spend some time with? As something to dream, rest and even sleep to?
In today’s world we are faced with an apocalyptic mood — pandemic, health crisis, war, climate change. That’s why we invite people to a performance that looks for radical softness and where the audience can literally spend time horizontally (if they want).
“Dances to fall asleep, dream and resist” is a soft response to an aggressive, war-driven and patriarchal world — we seek an alternative to that. One where softness, sensuality and touchy feelings are allowed and welcomed. In the performance we explore aesthetically anti-masculinity, anti-dramatics and non-aggressiveness. Keywords: self-care practices, somatics, non-sexual intimacy, meditation, therapeutic movement, cultivation of the hypersensitive body.
Come and dream and rest and collectively resist with us.
