Tomorrow’s Music, Arts and Ideas

Tallinn Music Week (TMW) is one of the most acclaimed new music and city culture festivals and key networking events for music and creative industry professionals across Europe, held annually in the capital of Estonia, Tallinn since 2009. The festival consists of three main programme parts: music festival, conference and city festival.

In 2022, TMW will take place in both the Estonian capital Tallinn and the easternmost city Narva on 4 – 8 May. Tallinn that from this year bears the title of UNESCO City of Music sends a musical greeting to the eastern border of Estonia and the 14th edition of TMW joins forces with the Station Narva festival that celebrates its 5th birthday. European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024 will also host a special programme at the unique cross-country event.

The music festival presents multi-genre acts from all over Europe and beyond in Tallinn and Narva’s best concert venues. TMW’s music programme is renowned for its bold mix of unique talent across Europe and beyond with diverse genres from experimental electronica to classical represented. The line-up, selected from applications by a broad-based team of Estonian and international curators, is presented across Tallinn’s best venues to an audience of around 20,000 festivalgoers and 1,000 industry professionals from around the globe.
