Stella Salumaa Sushi, zucchini and others
Stella Salumaa’s illustration exhibition “Sushi, zucchini and others” consists of two projects created as part of the drawing challenge – “36 Days of Type” and “Fun with Faces”. As part of the first project, the artist drew one letter of the alphabet related to food every day. Since it is an English alphabet, there are no dotted letters of the Estonian alphabet among the works. In terms of style, all the letters are created in a simple and humorous style.
“Fun with Faces” consists of portraits, the drawing of which was helped by three keywords. The portraits were completed within a week and also as a drawing challenge. Any medium or style could be used. The faces created by Stella are in her characteristic naive and colorful style. The organizer of the event was illustrator and mentor Charly Clements.
