Meditative tea ceremony & workshop with tea master Wu De

We invite you to a meditative tea ceremony in silence and an inspiring and practical workshop with tea teacher Wu De, who will share tea wisdom in Estonia again in September.

Wu De is a tea man (chajin), founder of the international tea club magazine Global Tea Hut, and author of several books. This is his fifth visit to Estonia, where his heart keeps drawing him back again and again. Wu De introduces tea as a way of experiencing presence in a fast-paced world, as well as strengthening the connection with oneself, friends and nature.

Meditative Morning Tea Ceremony with Wu De (W 27.09 at 8.00-9.30)

Join us for a meditative space of tea, presence and Zen wisdom. Experience some of the quietude, clarity and medicine that powerful, wild-grown or aged Tea has to offer. Participants will sharpen their senses to life around them through experiencing beautiful bowls of rare and powerful tea. These ceremonies are less structured, and intended as a space to share tea together in silence, with a brief discussion on Cha Dao at the end.
Price: 30€

Workshop: Introduction to Cha Dao (W 27.09 at 19.00-22.00)

Cha Dao (translated as “the way of tea”) is an ancient practice with a long-standing lineage of tea sages, masters and teachers. Many know tea as humankind’s most-drunk beverage (after water); fewer have been steeped in its history as a wise teacher plant with much to offer us in terms of how to best live a human life. You will leave this space inspired with a deeper understanding of the alchemy and magic of Cha Dao, as well as some of the methods and practical tools needed to begin a practice of Tea in your daily life.
Price: 65€
