MAX THE SAX Open-Air Concert

To celebrate the start of the Austrian EU-Presidency the Austrian Embassy is organizing a public Open-Air-Concert on Telliskivi Square on July 5, 2018.
Markus Ecklmayr aka MAX the SAX, an Austrian saxophonist who can make the whole world dance with only one breath intake, guarantees high-energy and an explosive experience. He takes the listener on a musical journey that mixes electric dance beats with funky jazz lines. His experience of playing on large stages and interacting with thousands of people, has developed into a very unique sensitivity for the audience and his music alike. His solo-shows are always different; he lets himself being inspired by the mood and energy of the crowd, transforms this atmosphere into improvisations, and pumps it back into the hearts of people through masterful playing and infectious interaction. A skill that has become the trademark of MAX the SAX.
Supporting Maroon 5 in Batumi, Georgia, MAX the SAX played to 40.000 people. He also played at the opening of the 50th anniversary of the Marc O’Polo fashion week alongside megastar Robbie Williams.
