Queer Feel is one part movement workshop, one part open jam session and one part conversation, which focuses on queer culture, more precisely vogue and drag. We will talk, we will try different elements and categories of vogueing such as Runway, Vogue Fem, Sex Siren, Face and connect them to the drag world. We might even have a little lip-sync performance!
All open-minded movers and queer culture enthusiasts are welcome to the workshop. Don’t hesitate even if it’s your first dance class! The idea of the workshop is to offer a safe and inspiring room for people, who want to practise or learn something new together or just meet with their beauty, talent and sexuality again.
The beginning of the day is rather physical. The workshop is followed by an open talk about the history and current situation of drag culture in Estonia and abroad. We will talk a bit about the background of vogue, drag and queer club culture and share specialists’ personal experiences.
