Photo exhibition Disability is not always visible to the eye

Näitus veebis

A disability or life-changing chronic illness may not always be
visible to a bystander.
The exhibition is about real people, putting disability into a new light
— we don’t often realize how many around us have to work hard to
overcome obstacles related to disability or health problems daily,
because it is not visible from the outside.

The photo exhibition includes 14 representatives of the network of
people with disabilities who share their life experiences of stuttering,
fibromyalgia, deafness as well as other chronic diseases or special needs.
Each photo is provided with a textual description for accessibility
and each person’s story has been translated into Estonian
sign language.
