30 PÖFF 30 posters 30 stories

The Black Nights Film Festival | PÖFF30
November 6-22, 2026

Thirty years of cinema, courage, creativity and unforgettable moments.

Every year, the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival has had its own identity, its own story and its own wolf. Over three decades, OFF’s posters have reflected not only the festival’s growth and evolution, but also the artistic trends, social moods and bold creative visions of their time.

This exhibition takes you on a journey through PÖFF’s visual history, from its very first edition to its 30th anniversary. Here, 30 posters, 30 unique creative visions and one shared passion come together: a love of cinema.

Over the years, the artists, visual styles and messages have changed, but one thing has remained constant: PÖFF’s courage to stand out, surprise and follow its own path.

Each poster is a piece of PÖFF’s history. Together, they tell the story of a festival that has grown from a small initiative into an international meeting place tor the world of cinema.

Telliskivi Creative City has been the everyday home of the PÖFF wolves since 2009.
