Young Design and Arts Festival in Telliskivi Creative City

Estonian Academy of Arts (EKA) invites you to pop into Telliskivi – come see how EKA design awakens with the spring!

EKA students will open a pop-up shop on Telliskivi shopping street on April 3rd at 4:00 PM, which gives young designers the opportunity to showcase and sell their creations.

“EKA pop-up or EKA awakening design” is the Estonian Academy of Arts’ spring festival, during which we showcase and highlight our students’ young and fresh creations and designs. The event covers various fields of applied arts and design, introducing their multifaceted nature, contemporary challenges, and future directions.

Weekly pop-up exhibitions will take place in the corridors of Telliskivi Creative City’s Poet Street, introducing the Estonian Academy of Arts design students’ field projects, new material experiments by the field studios, results of sustainable design creative challenges, displays of international cooperation, etc.

Workshops will be held – participants can try their hand at accessory, textile, fashion, and other field workshops. EKA students and masters will introduce design creation, new techniques, and help workshop participants develop manual skills and design thinking.

There are about 250 creative enterprises in Telliskivi Creative City, among them the workshops and studios of several well-known designers. Come on guided tours, fill out the registration form, and let’s explore the studios of Telliskivi Creative City together.

The EKA pop-up store will remain open on the shopping street of Telliskivi Creative City at Telliskivi 60a/2 until May 12th.
