Xantone Blacq is a songwriter, singer and a multi-instrumentalist – a well known fixture in the European Soul-Jazz and Nu-Soul scene. Xantone has three different line-ups he travels with, and is coming for a Nordic tour with his Helsinki based band, led by drummer Kari Paavola (Womack and Womack, Vanessa Haynes, The Filty Six, Enrique Iglesias, Tasha Taylor etc). Xantone has released solo material to a great critical acclaim, and he was also an integral part of Amy Winehouse’s group throughout her career. Xantone is currently focusing on his solo career, but also performs with Brit Award winning Emilie Sande. He is also a part of Michal Urbaniak’s group, and has had a trio with the famed Headhunters bassist Paul Jackson.
