Well-equipped Darkroom was established in 2019 and is one of the finest facilities in the town. Darkroom is available for use on a sessional hire basis for individuals or small groups (max 3 persons). The darkroom is fully accessible and available 7 days a week.

Darkroom equipment:
– All the necessary equipment to develop and enlarge B&W film from 35mm and medium format up to 5 x 4’’
– Durst Laborator 1200 CLS501 and LPL Color C7700 with different lenses, 50×60 cm dryer for natural (fibre-based) photographic paper. Selection of trays for 35mm and mid-format film. Development tanks up to 50×60 cm. The wet and dry areas are both well equipped with all the necessary tools.
– Developer, stop and fix for B&W printing
– MACO Ecomat Professional Dryer 51x65cm
You need to bring your own photographic paper. When arranged in advance, it’s possible to purchase the photographic paper at the Darkroom. Prior to your session, please ask what paper there is available for purchase.
