The exhibition presents twenty large-format glitch photographs installed in the open steel structure of Väligalerii, a public space visited daily by hundreds in Tallinn’s Telliskivi Creative City. The works transform corrupted digital files of familiar Estonian sites into physical surfaces that must endure the country’s harsh winter climate, inviting viewers to see what has become invisible through familiarity — to look again at what they think they know.
Beaudoin’s interdisciplinary practice examines how digital processes reshape the conditions of memory and identity. His use of failure, distortion, and disappearance situates the glitch as an aesthetic and ethical strategy for revealing what conventional systems of order typically conceal. The resulting works test the threshold between preservation and loss, surface and self. Set within an area now undergoing rapid redevelopment, with formerly industrial buildings transformed into glossy new commercial spaces, the exhibition dovetails with questions about what is erased and what is newly visible. In Another Light extends Beaudoin’s ongoing exploration of memory, identity, and the fragile boundaries between preservation and loss.
Paul Beaudoin is an interdisciplinary artist and composer based in Tallinn. His work explores impermanence, error, and material transformation across sound, image, and text. Exhibitions include the Pride Museum (Brussels), Vabaduse Gallery (Tallinn), Ram Chhapt Shilip Nyas Gallery (Varanasi), and KinoMural (Wrocław).
The exhibition will be open from 13 November 2025 to 10 January 2026 and is open 24/7.
