On the evening of 24th November, we’ll be joined by living legend Sarah Moon for the opening of her exhibition “At the still point”, which turns our current understanding of fashion photography on its head.
French artist Moon’s fashion photographs will be refreshing for anyone used to seeing glossy magazine covers with perfectly framed, edited and posed models – depicting something quite the opposite – her photographs are captivating, mysterious, unknown and obscure fairy tales where form, tone and beauty are blended with a subtle improvisational and almost delicate intensity.
Her impressive portfolio includes shootings for world-famous magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie-Claire, Graphis, Life and collaborations with the world’s biggest fashion brands such as Dior, Chanel, Comme des Garcons.
At the opening of the exhibition, we will serve hors d’oeuvres and Michel Gonet Champagne, the masterpiece of 7th generation winemaker Sophie Gonet.
The French have a saying that too much of anything is bad, but too much champagne is just right.
