Estonian Street Photography Association group exhibition “In Any Weather”

Group exhibition “Iga ilmaga” (In Any Weather) by the Estonian Street Photography Association. The exhibition will remain open until the end of March.

The weather directly influences how people move, behave, and perceive their surroundings. It is impossible to plan or stage. In street photography, it is not always possible to choose the ideal moment or wait for the right light or suitable weather – the photographer must rely on the situation itself, reacting quickly and intuitively to what they see.

“In Any Weather” speaks of presence and observation. The exhibition captures moments and characters: a girl hiding from the rain in a trash bag, a woman enjoying the sun at the window, a child tasting snow, people waiting, passers-by and travelers. These are everyday scenes from Estonian streets, which have a special impact when captured in a photograph. This is our story of the people who live and work on our streets every day.

The MTÜ Eesti Tänavafotograafia brings together people interested in street photography to learn, experiment, and capture life on the streets of Estonia. Our goal is to raise awareness of street photography as a photographic art form and to create a visual legacy that preserves the people and stories of our time for future generations.
