It was the love for art, nature and surf culture that has set Britt‘s interest to portray the majestetic scenes of water on canvas.

The call of wanderlust has created opportunities for her to explore and discover the World’s most captivating land- and seascapes. The magnificent beaches of Sri Lanka and Australia’s endless shoreline streching into a vivid Ocean, have both left a profound mark to the artist’s creative state of mind. It is destinations like these that have inspired Britt’s bright aqua-green oceanic art while finding her personal style as an emerging contemporary artist.

Born and raised in Estonia, Britt Ressar has studied arts in the Open Academy of Estonian Academy of Arts.  She has just recently relocated her art studio from Sydney, Australia to Telliskivi Loomelinnak in Tallinn.
