Designnut store is run by a design crazy (i.e. designnut) Danish-Estonian Family. The shopkeeper Marilin had grown affection for beautiful and special products for a long time and in several places, while working in London and Stockholm.
The situation got out of hands in Denmark, the home country of Marilin’s husband Sören. Marilin noticed that even the most smallest village had a decent design shop where families headed together at every payday. Not to mention all the cool Danish homes, where incredibly stylish design objects could be met in every step, from corridors to the far end corners at kids’ rooms. The idea to open a cosy design shop in Estonia started to grow and didn’t let go.
So in 2015 when Marilin moved to Estonia with her husband and two kids, the idea was materialized. Designnut, a shop consisting nearly 100% of Danish design was born and hooked all the family. Marilin’s husband takes care of the shop’s finances, Marilin herself is in charge of products and clients and the kids… Well, their dream is not to become a president nor an astronaut, but a shopkeeper.
“Oh, gosh, how cute is this! I’d love to own all the things from this shop” is not something that only 3 to 10-year-old girls would say, but also elderly ladies, who yearn to have something special for their hearts and homes as well. It’s just so easy to become a designnut at Designnut. At any age. Be aware!
