Exhibition “Belarus protest on walls”
At the beginning of February, a pop-up exhibition of Belarusian street art “Belarusian protest on walls” was opened in Telliskivi Creative City outdoor area. This is the second in a series of exhibitions dedicated to the protest in Belarus, this time focused on art created in urban space.
“The aim of the exhibition is to introduce contemporary Belarusian protest art, draw attention to the peaceful nature of the Belarusian protests and the violence perpetrated by the authorities, and seek solidarity among the people living in Estonia,” says Yulia Rebase, a Belarusian living in Estonia. “Belarus Protest on the Wall” introduces the Belarusian street artist @street_wind_, whose work also carries a sharp political message.
